Update 22.01.06 14.29 EST: I got reply from abuse @ Hostdepartment.com today, and they have also sent a mail to Admin (Frank) at Eastendhosting.com he have violated their TOS sending that e-mail he sent out to Senchihost.

Update 06.01.06 01.24 EST: Eastendhosting are sending out info about me to other hosting companies.

Update: 21.12.05 23.20 GMT: Frank uses false GeoTrust seal on his page southshorehosting.com

I canceled my account, and did recive VERY bad customer support. Read the mails here:

And the reply was from the same IP as the first e-mail: 69.37.165.243

down time maybe your brain has down time but not our server as for band with
5000gb is too little

And I only have 45 GB bandwidth, so not 5000GB. Maybe that's your total
bandwidth?
And your reply....I'm not very happy with a reply like that. Do you say that
hyperspin show me incorrect stats? That my server has not been down 7 times
since 11 dec? I'm also using hostdepartment to one other domain, and I have
much downtime on that account also. So what make you so special that your
server never have downtime, butt all other server at HD have?

You have to serious work with your client relations. You are the rudest
person who I have ever dealt with.
And Ok, my site are not up. I had this account so I could test your server
uptime, uplink speed and support. And you have shown me that your handling
of clients (me) are very bad, your server uptime are NOT 100%, and your
uplink at around 300-500kb/s.
You writes like h***, you have poorer English than me, and I writes bad
English.

I will post this replies on WHT, so people can se what kind of support and
treatment they get from Eastendhosting. Keep up the "good" work Frank.

first off I just got up no coffee  your control panel says
vg: 4,919.7/45000 MB  that id 45 gb in lay mans terns 1011=mb is 1 gb
its the nexus ser that has the problems it was being dos attacked for 2
weeks
as for H>D that my  brother in law.....by the way I have a solution
that the cpanel  which is on my other server is never down

I am not -customer service, we have 77,000 accounts here 2,000 clients are
clueless    not downtime is server up grade not site down time

And this are a server with NO downtime......ps: I have removed the test now sice my account has been removed.

Update 19.12.05: Eastendhosting tells people that they have 100% server uptime and have a link on their page. But since 11.december my server at Eastendhosting have been down 6 times, for total 35 minutes, thats 99.692 %.

Server was ready: 11.12.05 - 18.18 GMT

I allready have some problems. The server they use for FTP are not working with my username and password. Their filemanager are not working. The download speed stops around 1.1MB/s And the upload speed are around 400KB/s = 4mbps uplink? ( I have a 100mbps port so the limit are not here)

Here are some screenshots from the prosess:

And here are the start mail - ready to start using my new site:
Nice with 45.000MB free space on a webhost to $9.95
Ready to use filemanager to transfer some files
But no Filemanager at Eastendhosting.com - So next step - use FTP
But no luck with the server - username and password they told me in the start mail. Tried to change password, but still no luck. I had to create a domain, and use the IP I got for the domain.
Ready to transfer - 45.000 MB of free space. But only 429 KB/s --- Not very good. I will never use 45.000MB on this server.
3% on my 100mbps port. So I have no problem with transfering the file
I had to download the file also, and as you see the download speed are 1.0 MB/s - so a SLOW line from eastendhosting
I changed my CP look, a lot better that the look/scin that I got at the start
I did upload 6.3 GB so it is possible to fill the server. maybe I will use this to backup after all....still no reply from Canaca
On their page: Eastendhosting has an uptime of 100% for the past 98 days.
